Museo Nacional de Arte Romano

This museum, erected on a part of the excavation site with the remains of a roman settlement is a very interesting museum as is considers the way and position of the artefacts, which is what I aim to achieve. What I like about this project is its extensive use of brick and that the way it heightens the artefacts visually because they are in contrast. This idea of the brick work in contrast with the artefacts is one I use within my project on one wall thus creating the connection with villa, emphasising the directional journey and making it easy and interesting when looking at the artefacts.
