Interim review

Shown below is the panel shown for the interim review. The project so far exploited the idea of the journey and that there are two ways in which the visitor would travel through the museum. Starting from the beginning the visitor enters through the first threshold and then enters upon a monumental atrium space from here there are two routes in which one might take. The first is the quickest which takes you to the villa and the other which navigates you through the museum and its exhibits. The idea is that before you go to the villa you will travel through the museum and its exhibits and on the return you will take another route straight through his museum creating a different experience. This is what I tried to show with the two renders. As with all stages in development the project is never compete and in the case of this current design the project played too much on its monumentality aspect and scale however there were a lot of good thing which came out of the review.

The model shown is the development of the museum from its conceptual stage which still follows the same principles as before.
