Through the site analysis of the site, the historical aspects in relation to the master plan I begun to make my position for the archaeological museum I am to design on the site.
Archaeology is a process of elegance and time taken in-depth history of its location. The interesting aspect of archaeology is the longer and deeper the excavation the rarer the possible find can be. There for to allow a deeper connection between the residential area and the villa a route or journey is to be establishes which will bridge the connection and allow to draw tourist and residential into this historic site.
The idea therefore is the creating a journey to the Villa Dei Quintile, a journey which begins to unearth the historical and archaeological nature of the site whilst retaining a glimpse of the villa through different moments before fully exposing and discovering the villa at the end of the journey.
