The brief

The brief highlighted issues and requirements for the current project and is a developed perspective into the type of project I chosen for the site. The project is a continuation of the master plan where it looks into the idea of the gate way to the city. It is also highly valued on access which is where the conceptual principal comes into. Through the research for the project there is much found regarding artefacts on site and off site. This artefact will be a key aspect for the space arrangement and the research will continue to further expand the museums catalogue.

The brief also highlights aspects regarding museums where there are a number of factors to consider for the visitors, workers and artefacts benefit. There are issues looked at like lighting, conditioning, security and others regarding the museum. The area chosen for the museum is a piece of land not in use and has simply been rejected through over growth of vegetation and comparing to the rest of the it is hopeful that the project will bring it up to a good level of standard thus completing the villa site.

The idea of the brief is to provide a baseline for the research in the archaeological museum.

Line of sight view of oncoming tourist from airport will influence the positioning of the museum and create a connection between road and villa.
