Precedent study relevant to master planning

K/P architects: parquet de levanter master plan
As part of the master plan scheme we looked at a number of different precedents however only one stood out for us. Partly because one of the aspects looked at in the project is the connection with the residential area to the north. We decided on creating a series of architectural underpass which would be pleasant to transcend on approach to the villa. So the example looked at is exactly what we were looking for in an underpass. Parquet de levanter master plan in Murcia, Spain is a plan for a park which is situated along the Segura River close to the city historic centre. This type of design highlights the idea of a museum park which aims to become a major art destination. There are similarities between both projects such as the aspect of transportation however the position and shape of their underpasses for me highlights the successfulness of the project making it a good reference for the project.
